Avokatfirman Sallnäs processes personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

• We use the information only for the purpose we have specified (purpose restriction).
• We do not collect – and we do not store – information that is not needed for the purpose we have provided (data minimization).
• We clearly communicate how personal data is collected, stored and used and we ensure that the rights of the persons concerned are respected (transparency).
• We are responsible for ensuring that the processing of personal data is traceable and that we or our personal data assistants are responsible for the processing (responsibility).
• We are responsible for ensuring that personal data is available in the manner we have indicated (availability).
• We are responsible for ensuring that personal data is not erased or altered due to negligence or intent (integrity).
• We are responsible for ensuring that personal data is handled confidentially (confidentiality).

A large part of the processing of personal data done by the Law Firm is done with the support of agreements with the client.

When a client sends personal information to the Law Firm to seek counseling or other assistance in legal matters, e.g. in the form of e-mail, and when the Law Firm agrees to assist the client, an agreement is reached on counseling between the client and the Law Firm. We will then process personal data in order to fulfill the agreement. In other cases, our processing of personal data is based on consent. By contacting us, the client agrees that we process the personal data in order to take the necessary steps in the assignment. A client is always entitled to withdraw his consent regarding the Law Firm’s right to process the client’s personal data.

The personal information that the Law Firm normally needs to be able to provide their services and fulfill the assignment are:

• name
• e-mail
• address
• phone number
• personal
• copy of passport or other identity document

The client can also contact the Integrity Protection Authority (until 2018 Data Inspection) if the client has objections to how the personal data is processed. This is done to datainspektionen@datainspektionen.se
